Adds Section 3-212 to the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code requiring facility directors to renew sex offender registrations for inpatients admitted to mental health facilities.

Authorizes facility directors to act on behalf of sex offenders to perform renewal duties under the Sex Offender Registration Act, including payment of $100 annual renewal fees.

Amends Section 3 of the Sex Offender Registration Act to add subsection (e) making conforming changes for sex offenders in mental health facilities.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
