IL HB5535

Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law to expand workers' compensation charges to employing State agencies to include both medical expenses and temporary total disability benefits (previously only temporary total disability).

Removes the 120-day waiting period and modified duty work requirements that previously limited when agencies could be charged for disability benefits.

Creates a Workers' Compensation Revolving Fund to receive reimbursements from State agencies for workers' compensation claims and to pay medical and temporary total disability claims for State employees.

Directs that subrogation amounts recovered in workers' compensation cases be deposited into the Workers' Compensation Revolving Fund beginning in fiscal year 1996.
