Amends the Property Tax Code Section 15-169 concerning the disabled veterans standard homestead exemption.

Veterans with a service-connected disability of at least 70% are exempted from the requirement to reapply annually for the homestead exemption.

Veterans with a service-connected disability of less than 70% must continue to reapply on an annual basis during the application period in their county.

Exemption amounts remain $5,000 for veterans with at least 70% service-connected disability (starting in 2010) and $2,500 for those with 50-69% disability, with a maximum property value of $250,000.
