Amends the Personnel Code by adding Section 8g to prohibit foreign language requirements in state employment positions that do not require regular contact with the general public.

Director of Central Management Services cannot include a requirement to speak or write a language other than English in official classification specifications or position listings unless the role involves regular public contact.

Applies to both current employees and candidates for state positions.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
