Allows retired Chicago teachers to return to work on a temporary, non-annual, or hourly basis without losing their pension if they earn no more than $10,000 in gross compensation per school year.

Requires retired teachers seeking such re-employment to notify both the Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund and the Board of Education before or within 30 days of beginning work.

Mandates the Board of Education certify to the Fund each re-employed pensioner's status and compensation at least quarterly and when approaching the $10,000 earnings limit.

Cancels the service retirement pension if the pensioner exceeds $10,000 in gross compensation during any school year.

Exempts the Board of the Fund from requiring reimbursement from the State for implementing this mandate; effective immediately upon enactment.
