Amends Section 2-1117 of the Code of Civil Procedure regarding joint liability in civil actions for bodily injury, death, or property damage based on negligence or strict tort liability.

Defendants with less than 25% fault are severally liable (individually responsible) for all damages other than medical expenses, instead of jointly and severally liable.

Defendants with 25% or greater fault remain jointly and severally liable for all damages other than medical expenses.

All defendants remain jointly and severally liable for plaintiff's past and future medical and medically related expenses regardless of individual fault percentage.

Removes the exception that previously excluded the plaintiff's employer from liability provisions.
