Amends the Recreational Use of Land and Water Areas Act to allow not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organizations to register their land with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to qualify for limited liability protection.

Registered 501(c)(3) organizations may make land (excluding residential buildings) available to the public for conservation, resource management, education, or outdoor recreational activities and receive liability protection under the Act.

The Department must create a website registration page to collect: owner name and address, IRS tax identification number, property size/address/PIN, and county location; registration also permitted by certified mail.

Property becomes registered once information is submitted to the Department, and 501(c)(3) owners remain qualified for liability protection until they request removal or no longer possess the property.

Changes apply only to causes of action accruing on or after January 1, 2013, and the Act takes effect immediately upon passage.
