HB6036 - Department of Revenue FY2013 Appropriations

• Appropriates $787,139,500 total for Department of Revenue ordinary and contingent expenses for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012 ($119,736,900 General Funds, $667,152,600 Other State Funds, $250,000 Federal Funds)

• Funds tax administration and enforcement operations including personal services, social security contributions, contractual services, and electronic data processing across multiple revenue funds

• Appropriates $50 million from Illinois Affordable Housing Trust Fund for housing grants, mortgages, loans, and down payment assistance administered by Illinois Housing Development Authority

• Provides allocations to local governments and special districts including $184.28 million for 1.25% Use Tax, $60 million for video gaming net terminal income tax, and $32 million for RTA

• Funds Liquor Control Commission operations from Dram Shop Fund totaling $9,569,900, including tobacco retailer inspection programs, beverage alcohol education, and youth tobacco access reduction grants
