Appropriates $38,601,500 total for the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012, comprised of $36,411,200 in General Funds and $2,190,300 in Other State Funds.

Allocates $990,300 from the Violence Prevention Fund for personnel services ($529,300), retirement contributions ($201,100), Social Security ($40,500), group insurance ($188,400), and operational expenses including travel, equipment, and telecommunications.

Provides $1,200,000 from Violence Prevention Fund for grants under the Violence Prevention Act of 1995.

Appropriates $35,943,400 from General Revenue Fund for violence prevention programs including grants and contracts ($1,441,400), Family Violence Coordinating Council ($544,500), Bullying Prevention ($273,000), Neighborhood Recovery Initiative ($30,485,000), and Safety Net Works ($3,640,000).

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
