Appropriates $388,195,300 total to the Department of State Police for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012, funded from General Funds ($250,500,000), Other State Funds ($117,595,300), and Federal Funds ($20,100,000)

Allocates funding across five major divisions: Administration ($11.3 million), Information Services Bureau ($8.7 million), Division of Operations ($208 million), Division of Forensic Services and Identification ($55.6 million), and Division of Internal Investigation ($2.8 million)

Provides specialized appropriations including $4.5 million from State Asset Forfeiture Fund, $2 million from Federal Asset Forfeiture Fund, $2 million from Money Laundering Asset Recovery Fund, and $14 million from State Police Whistleblower Reward and Protection Fund

Funds specific programs including fingerprint services ($19 million), federal and IDOT programs ($8.4 million), DUI prevention equipment ($1 million), sex offender registration and investigation ($200,000), and motor carrier safety enforcement ($2.6 million)
