Appropriates $64,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department on Aging to provide an additional $1.70 per hour to vendors of homemaker, chore, and housekeeping services in the Community Care Program.

Appropriates $6,100,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to provide an additional $1.70 per hour to vendors of homemaker, chore, and housekeeping services in the Home Services Program.

Funds are designated to increase wages paid by vendors to their employees by at least $1.00 per hour to adjust for statewide minimum wage increases.

Total appropriation amounts to $70,100,000 combined between both departments.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
