Amends the Safe Pharmaceutical Disposal Act to allow any licensed pharmacy to display a locked, secured container for disposal of used, expired, or unwanted pharmaceuticals and prescription drugs.

Container must be accessible to the public with clearly legible signage indicating that expired or unwanted prescription drugs may be disposed of inside.

Receptacle shall only permit deposit of items and contents must be locked and secured to prevent unauthorized access.

Department of Financial and Professional Regulation shall adopt rules to facilitate the receipt of medication and prescription drugs under pharmacy disposal provisions.

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
