Military service members enrolled in Illinois public universities, colleges, or community colleges cannot receive failing grades for examinations or coursework missed due to military service.

Faculty and administrative officials must provide military service members with equivalent opportunities to make up missed examinations or coursework.

Military service members are entitled to full monetary credits or refunds for tuition paid if they are unable to attend classes for 7 or more days due to military service orders.

Course withdrawals due to military service do not impact a service member's final grade point average.

Late penalties, processing fees, and charges for books and lab fees are waived for service members unable to enroll for upcoming terms due to military service obligations.
