Creates the Chicago Educational Governance Task Force to recommend the best structure and procedure for governing City of Chicago School District 299

Task Force composition includes 4 legislative members (appointed by House and Senate leaders), 4 community organization representatives, the school district CEO, Chicago Board of Education President, Chicago Teachers Union President, principals' association president, and student representative

Speaker of the House and President of the Senate each appoint one co-chairperson from their respective legislative appointees

Task Force members shall examine various governance structures including elected school boards and mayoral control, and gather data on the current governance structure

Task Force shall submit its recommendations to the General Assembly on or before May 30, 2012
