Creates the Area Career and Technical Education and Vocational Centers Task Force with 11 members appointed by legislative leaders, the Governor, and the Illinois State Board of Education.

Task Force shall study funding mechanisms for area career/vocational centers and career and technical education programs, including transportation, and consider enacting legislation to address funding challenges.

Task Force must hold a minimum of 7 public hearings across the state, with a majority held at area career/vocational centers, and report findings and recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly by February 1, 2013.

Members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for reasonable and necessary expenses; the Governor's Office shall provide administrative support to the Task Force.

Task Force shall disband after submitting its final report on February 1, 2013.
