Urges Illinois Constitutional Officers, State Board of Education, Department of Veterans' Affairs, and civic, educational, and patriotic organizations to implement programs preserving and honoring the values and sacrifices of World War II participants.

Calls for recognition of World War II's profound and lasting effect on Illinois society and the nation.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to the Constitutional Officers, State Board of Education, and Department of Veterans' Affairs.
