Illinois House of Representatives expresses mourning for U.S. Army Specialist Trevor Pinnick of Lawrenceville, who died on June 11, 2012, near Panjwa'I, Kandahar, Afghanistan.

SPC Pinnick was born January 6, 1992, graduated from Lawrenceville High School in May 2010, and entered the Army in August 2010.

SPC Pinnick served with the 18th Engineer Company, 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team of the 2nd Infantry Division at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, and received the Army Achievement Medal on September 6, 2011.

SPC Pinnick was married to Martha and had one daughter, Melody Renee, born September 15, 2010.

House directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to SPC Pinnick's family as a symbol of sympathy.
