Recognizes Foster's career as a long-time columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times, with her column "Stella's Column" debuting December 2, 2003, and becoming one of the newspaper's most popular columns.

Highlights Foster's 34-year career as assistant to late journalist Irv Kupcinet and her writing work including columns "Starlights by Stella" and "Oh Boy! Ain't She Opinionated."

Lists Foster's numerous awards and honors including the Chicago Journalists Association's Lifetime Achievement Award, Rainbow PUSH Media Trailblazer Award, National Association of Black Journalists' Distinguished Service Award, and the Irv Kupcinet Media Giant Award.
