Recognizes the convention's focus on circumstances impacting Black communities throughout the United States and development of effective responses to those circumstances

Acknowledges the convention's examination of how American policies affect Black people throughout Africa and the world, and its development of a Strategic Plan for community service programs

Welcomes convention members, committee representatives, and guests to the State of Illinois

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to the Planning and Organizing Committees as a symbol of esteem and respect
