Commemorates Dana J. "Double D" Davis of Peoria, who died on October 3, 2012, at age 56.

Recognizes his 13-year career with the Memphis Grizzlies as Vice President of Basketball Operations and Team Programs, and his earlier work as business and tour manager for funk legend Bootsy Collins.

Honors his board service with the National Civil Rights Museum (elected 2011), Peoria Citizen's Committee for Economic Opportunity, and induction into the African American Hall of Fame in 2007.

Acknowledges his community and charitable work including directing basketball camps, organizing the Grizzlies' Day of Giving, distributing shoes and food to disadvantaged youth, and fundraising for St. Jude's Children's Hospital and other causes.

Directs presentation of the resolution to his family as an expression of sympathy.
