Recognizes the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for being named 2012 Small Hispanic Chamber of the Year by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at their 33rd annual national convention in Los Angeles

The chamber was founded in 2008 to support and promote business opportunities for Hispanic-owned businesses in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas in Illinois and Iowa, with close to 200 members

Serves as the only organization in the Quad Cities specifically created to address the needs of the Hispanic business community, covering Sterling, Rock Falls, Iowa City, Muscatine, and West Liberty

Commends Bob Ontiveros, the chamber president, and directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to him as an expression of the Illinois House of Representatives' esteem and respect
