Honors State Representative Dan Reitz for 14 years of service in the Illinois General Assembly and thanks him for his dedicated service to the state and community.

Recognizes Reitz's service as a Randolph County Commissioner from 1987 to 1996, including his role as county board chairman during the Great Flood of 1993.

Acknowledges Reitz's advocacy for the coal mining industry, hunters and sportsmen, and his contribution to the World Shooting and Recreation Complex in Sparta, Illinois, which has hosted the Amateur Trapshooting Association Grand American Championships since 2006.

Commends Reitz's work as chairman of the Agriculture and Conservation Committee, promoting investment in ethanol, protecting farmlands, and advocating for Illinois farmers.

Recognizes Reitz's efforts to strengthen Illinois levees and prevent flooding to protect riverfront communities and families.
