Amendment to Senate Bill 1576

• Amends Public Act 96-956 to adjust appropriations for legislative leadership and staff expenses across five sections of Article 70

• Section 15: Increases total appropriation from $20,073,837 to $20,603,400 for Senate leadership, House leadership staff, and office operations with adjusted percentage allocations

• Section 25: Increases appropriation from $298,490 to $309,200 for printing, binding, stationery and office supplies between Senate President and House Speaker

• Sections 30, 35, and 40: Increase appropriations for standing committee research assistance ($4,378,008 to $4,483,050), Senate officer allowances ($158,650 to $167,000), and legislative travel expenses ($85,215 to $88,100) with modified percentage distributions

• Effective upon becoming law
