IL SB2030

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to prohibit Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) access to cash assistance at automated teller machines located on the premises of riverboat gambling facilities, land-based casinos, pari-mutuel wagering facilities, and cruise ships, whether located in Illinois or outside Illinois.

Requires the Department of Human Services to enforce the EBT access restrictions through its EBT contractors and to take appropriate steps to notify recipients of the cash assistance prohibition.

Directs the Department to make recommendations within 60 days of the law's effective date regarding any additional premises where EBT cash access should be prohibited and to report these recommendations to the General Assembly.
