IL SB2450

Amends Public Act 97-0070 to modify appropriations for the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for medical assistance programs including physician, dental, hospital, and long-term care services.

Reduces Medicare Part B Premiums appropriation from $349,232,100 to $275,632,100 and increases Division of Specialized Care for Children funding to $67,900,200, resulting in a total medical assistance appropriation of $5,725,688,700.

Creates Healthcare Provider Relief Fund with $151,000,000 appropriation and modifies other healthcare fund deposits, increasing total appropriations in Section 35 from $12,938,800 to $163,938,800.

Increases Healthcare Provider Relief Fund appropriation for Medical Assistance Providers from $1,000,000,000 to $1,302,000,000 under the Hospital Provider Fund section.

Increases child care services grants appropriation from $281,850,800 to $355,450,800 and adds $20,000,000 for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families employment and training funded by federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds.
