IL SB2526

Amends the Public Utilities Act to require regulated gas and electric utilities with at least 100,000 customers to submit annual reports by February 1, 2013 and each February 1 thereafter.

Reports must detail procurement goals and actual spending for minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and small business enterprises in searchable Adobe PDF format.

Goals and actual spending must be expressed as percentages of the total work performed by each regulated utility.

Utilities must include the rules, regulations, and definitions used for their procurement goals in their annual reports.

Illinois Public Utilities Commission shall publish each annual report on its website and maintain them for at least 5 years.
