IL SB3220

Adds Parkinson's disease to the list of conditions creating a rebuttable presumption that firefighters, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and paramedics contracted the disease through employment.

Establishes that any condition resulting from Parkinson's disease causing disability in these workers is presumed to arise from and be caused by occupational hazards, unless the employer rebuts the presumption.

Requires the presumption to apply only to employees who have worked in firefighting, EMT, or paramedic roles for at least 5 years at the time they file a workers' compensation claim.

Amends the State Mandates Act to exempt this requirement from state reimbursement obligations to local governments and other entities.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
