IL SB3305

Amends the Illinois Procurement Code Section 50-30 regarding the revolving door prohibition for state procurement officials.

Makes a technical change to the language in the revolving door prohibition section by removing redundant wording.

Applies to chief procurement officers, state purchasing officers, procurement compliance monitors, designees with procurement duties, and senate-confirmed executive officers.

Prohibits affected individuals for 2 years after leaving their position from engaging in any procurement activities relating to their former state agency for at least 6 months.

Prohibition covers lobbying the procurement process, bidding, proposing bid or contract documents on behalf of themselves or any firm, partnership, association, or corporation.
