Establishes the Enhance Physical Education Task Force composed of 22 voting members including legislators, state officials, school representatives, and organizational representatives focused on education, health, and wellness.

State Superintendent of Education and Director of Public Health serve as co-chairpersons; task force must hold initial meeting as soon as possible after the act's effective date.

State Board of Education and Department of Public Health shall provide staff support and assistance to the task force.

Task force purpose includes promoting enhanced physical education programs integrated with wellness and health curriculum in elementary and secondary schools, developing assessment metrics, and supporting professional development for teachers.

Task force must make recommendations to Governor and General Assembly by August 31, 2013 on Illinois Learning Standards Goals 19-24 for Physical Development and Health, focusing on neuroscience research linking physical activity and learning; section repeals September 1, 2013.
