IL SB3385

Amends the Electrologist Licensing Act to add a new grandfather provision allowing individuals who missed the original 12-month application deadline to apply for licensure within 5 business days after the act becomes law.

Applicants under the new provision must have 3 years of documented employment as an electrologist with remuneration and meet other requirements from Section 30, plus hold current board certification from an approved national body or complete 30 continuing education units in electrology.

Maintains existing subsection allowing individuals who missed the February 22, 2006 deadline to apply within 90 days after the 96th General Assembly's amendatory act.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
