IL SB3449

Amends the State Finance Act to include the State vehicle fleet alongside State garages in revenue provisions, directing all fees and money from operating the State vehicle fleet into the State Garage Revolving Fund.

Makes appropriations for acquiring motor vehicles for the State vehicle fleet payable from the State Garage Revolving Fund instead of requiring separate appropriations.

Allows third-party damage payments for State vehicles to be deposited into the State Garage Revolving Fund, with the Department of Central Management Services using these funds to repair or replace damaged vehicles for the responsible agency.

Requires the Department of Transportation to deposit damage payments into the Road Fund if a damaged vehicle was originally acquired through a Road Fund appropriation.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
