IL SB3465

Establishes June 1, 2012 as a deadline for all General Assembly scholarship nominations, after which no new nominations or awards may be made.

Eliminates the ability to make second nominations for lapsed General Assembly scholarships after June 1, 2012, causing any unmade second nominations to result in scholarship lapse.

Prevents nomination of candidates to unused or unexpired portions of vacated General Assembly scholarships after June 1, 2012, with such scholarships deemed lapsed by operation of law if not nominated by that date.

Allows nominations made on or before June 1, 2012 to proceed normally, but closes the scholarship program to new nominations entirely after that date.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
