Amends the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois to make a technical change to Section 605-615 concerning export assistance.

Department shall establish or cosponsor mentoring conferences with experienced manufacturing exporters to educate prospective exporters about domestic and international export opportunities.

Department shall provide technical assistance to businesses seeking to establish export opportunities and coordinate with Small Business Development Centers to connect buyers with prospective exporters.

Department shall promote Illinois-made products domestically and abroad, develop an electronic database on international trade and investment activities, and distribute trade information to foreign commercial libraries.

Department shall establish an export finance awareness program to inform banking organizations about export financing methods and develop a survey to identify exportable products and interested Illinois businesses.
