• Expands pharmacist vaccination authority to include patients ages 10-13 for Influenza (inactivated and live attenuated intranasal) and Tdap vaccines, requiring valid prescription or standing order from a physician, appropriate training, and notification to patient's physician.

• Requires pharmacists administering vaccinations to patients ages 10-13 to complete training on addressing contraindications and adverse reactions as set forth by rule, with appropriate record retention.

• Maintains existing pharmacist vaccination authority for patients 14 years and older for oral, topical, injectable, and inhalation medications, including vaccinations.

• Adds new definition of "Pharmacist" as an individual health care professional and provider currently licensed by the State to engage in pharmacy practice.

• Renumbers elements within the "Practice of pharmacy" definition to accommodate the new vaccination provision for ages 10-13.
