IL SB3561

Amends the Public Community College Act by making a technical change to Section 2-1 concerning the Illinois Community College Board.

Changes the phrase "the the" to "the" in the opening language establishing the Illinois Community College Board (State Board).

Maintains the State Board structure of 12 members: one nonvoting student member and 11 voting members appointed by the Governor with Senate consent.

Retains existing requirements that one board member be a senior citizen age 60 or over, one be a faculty member at an Illinois public community college, and one be a member of a public community college district board of trustees.
