IL SB3570

Amends the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Act to add a new ineligibility criterion excluding undocumented immigrants from program coverage.

Adds subsection (e)(3) stating that a child is not eligible for coverage under the Program if the child is an undocumented immigrant.

Maintains existing eligibility requirements including Illinois residency, ineligibility for other public health programs, household income at or below 300% of federal poverty level, and lack of affordable health insurance.

Preserves existing exclusions for non-payment of premiums and children who are inmates of public institutions or institutions for mental diseases.
