IL SB3577

Amends Section 1-1-2 of the Illinois Municipal Code concerning definitions used throughout the code.

Makes a technical correction to the definition of "municipal" or "municipality" by removing a redundant instance of the word "the" in the opening clause.

Preserves all existing definitions including municipal authority types, electors, persons, fiscal years, county references, and general municipal elections.

Effective upon enactment with no sunset provisions or implementation dates specified.
