IL SB3650

Amends the Gubernatorial Boards and Commissions Act to prohibit appointment or reappointment to any state board or commission for terms beginning after the effective date if the person is a spouse, child, or spouse of a child of a State official.

Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois to apply the same restriction to appointments as head officer of state departments, effective after the bill's enactment date.

Defines "State official" by reference to subsection (c) of Section 2 of the Lobbyist Registration Act.

Applies these eligibility restrictions to terms of office beginning on or after the effective date of the 97th General Assembly's amendatory act.
