IL SB3703

Amends the Elder Abuse and Neglect Act to modify Section 8 regarding access to confidential elder abuse and neglect records.

Adds new provision (2.5) allowing law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and fire protection districts to receive lists of eligible adults at imminent risk of elder abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, or self-neglect under written agreements with provider agencies.

Adds new provision (4.5) granting executors or administrators of deceased eligible adults' estates access to records.

Adds new provision (8.5) allowing coroners or medical examiners to receive lists of eligible adults at imminent risk of death from abuse or neglect under written agreements with provider agencies.

Maintains confidentiality protections by keeping reporter identity confidential while allowing specified parties (Department staff, law enforcement, physicians, courts, guardians ad litem, and others) access to records for legitimate purposes.
