IL SB3730

Amends Section 24-1 of the Criminal Code of 1961 concerning unlawful use of weapons by making a technical correction to the language in subsection (a).

Changes the phrase "the offense of unlawful use of weapons when he knowingly" to "the offense of unlawful use of weapons when he knowingly" (replacing "the" with underlined "the" to correct grammatical construction).

The bill maintains all existing definitions, prohibited weapons, penalties, and exemptions related to unlawful weapon possession and use in Illinois.
