Amends Section 6 of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/6) to make a technical change regarding violations of the Act.

Removes redundant language by deleting one instance of the word "the" that appeared twice in succession in the statute.

Maintains existing penalties for public officials, contractors, and subcontractors who willfully violate prevailing wage provisions or fail to maintain required records and documents.

Preserves the Class A misdemeanor classification for willful violations of the Act's requirements.

Retains the Department of Labor's enforcement authority and the Attorney General's prosecution responsibilities for prevailing wage violations.
