IL SB3757

Amends the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure to establish admissibility standards for photographs in motor vehicle accident cases involving personal injury or property damage claims.

Photographs of motor vehicles or property are deemed relevant and admissible into evidence when authenticated by a lay or occurrence witness with personal knowledge that the photograph accurately depicts the vehicle or property before or after the accident.

Eliminates the requirement for expert or opinion witness testimony to establish the relevance of photographs or to demonstrate correlation between vehicle damage and claimed personal injuries.
