Restricts Illinois Senate members' participation in the General Assembly Retirement System to those who first become participants before this amendatory act's effective date.

Allows Illinois Senate members who first became senators between February 1, 2011 and the effective date of this act to elect participation in the State Employees' Retirement System instead of the General Assembly Retirement System within 24 months.

Requires Illinois Senate members who first become senators on or after the effective date of this act to automatically enroll in the State Employees' Retirement System unless they file a written election not to participate within 24 months.

Amends sections 2-101, 2-105, 2-117, and 14-103.05 of the Illinois Pension Code to implement these enrollment changes.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
