Appropriates $1,196,438,400 total ($1,110,516,800 from General Funds and $85,921,600 from Other State Funds) for the Department of Corrections fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012

Funds operations across 24 correctional facilities and statewide services including personal services, contractual services, commodities, equipment, and telecommunications

Allocates $33,000,000 from the Department of Corrections Reimbursement and Education Fund for school district programs, federal programs including construction of additional beds and treatment programs, and miscellaneous programs including medical costs and food

Includes specific appropriations for specialized programs: $4,400,000 for Operation CeaseFire, $1,200,000 grant to Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center for Methamphetamine Pilot Program, and $6,682,400 for statewide hospitalization services

Takes effect July 1, 2012; requires Governor's written approval before entering contracts for repairs, maintenance, and capital improvements
