Appropriates $9,901,900 total to the Illinois Arts Council for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012, consisting of $8,151,900 from General Funds and $1,750,000 from Federal Funds

Allocates $1,644,600 from General Revenue Fund for Council operations including $1,250,000 for personal services, $138,200 for contractual services, and other administrative expenses

Appropriates $4,378,300 from General Revenue Fund for grants and financial assistance to arts organizations, individual artists, underserved constituencies, and arts education programs

Appropriates $1,500,000 from Illinois Arts Council Federal Grant Fund for grants and programs enhancing cultural environment, plus $175,000 for Education Leadership Institute administrative costs and grants

Appropriates $1,812,000 from General Revenue Fund for grants to public radio and television stations and related administrative expenses under the Public Radio and Television Grant Act

Appropriates $317,000 from General Revenue Fund for humanities programs and administrative expenses

Appropriates additional $75,000 from Illinois Arts Council Federal Grant Fund for cultural environment grants and administrative costs

Takes effect July 1, 2012
