Appropriates $411,328,000 total ($361,143,000 General Funds and $50,185,000 Other State Funds) to the Illinois Community College Board for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012

Allocates $275,204,000 from Education Assistance Fund for base operating grants ($198,091,000) and equalization grants ($77,113,000) to qualifying public community colleges

Appropriates $55,524,000 for adult education and literacy activities from multiple funds including General Revenue Fund and ICCB Adult Education Fund

Provides $36,069,400 for career and technical education activities from General Revenue Fund ($17,569,400) and Career and Technical Education Fund ($18,500,000)

Includes funding for specific initiatives: $15,000,000 for City Colleges of Chicago; $7,261,500 to reimburse colleges up to 50% of Illinois Veterans' Grant costs; $3,000,000 for Alternative Schools Network; and $1,589,100 for educational facility in former community college district #541 in East St. Louis

Takes effect July 1, 2012
