Designates the bridge located at 99th and 100th Streets and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the Rosemoor and Roseland Heights communities as the "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Bridge"

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect plaques or signs at suitable locations identifying the bridge by its new memorial name in compliance with state and federal regulations

Recognizes Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s contributions to justice and equality and the significance of this being the only public bridge along the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive corridor on Chicago's Far Southside

Directs that copies of the resolution be delivered to the Secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Chicago City Council
