Illinois Senate expresses condolences on the death of Carter Jack Stewart, son of the late Irene (Harazak) Stewart and Jack Stewart.

Carter Stewart was an avid sailor who served as a sailing instructor at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center and was a member of the Anchorage Yacht Club for several years.

Carter Stewart was preceded in death by aunts Helen and Sylvia and uncle Edward.

Carter Stewart is survived by aunts Joan Livieri, Evelyne Stickler, and Catherine Emanuel, and his caregiver Portia Carmichael and her son Douglas.

A suitable copy of this resolution will be presented to Carter Stewart's family as an expression of the Senate's sympathy.
