Raymond O. Wallin of Gurnee, formerly of Waukegan, passed away on June 22, 2012, and was born on March 2, 1921, in Comfrey, Minnesota.

Served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Served 30 years on the Waukegan Fire Department and retired at the rank of lieutenant.

Was a member of Trinity United Lutheran Church and was preceded in death by his wife Jean and parents Harris and Olga Wallin.
