Illinois Senate expresses condolences for the death of Marie Perez of Aurora, who passed away on June 21, 2012

Marie Perez was a Woman's Army Corps veteran (1944-1946) who volunteered at Holy Angels Food Pantry for 35 years and was devoted to her Catholic faith

She was married to Peter Perez, a former Chicago Bears player, and had six children, many of whom worked in local police and fire departments

Marie Perez is survived by her six children, twelve grandchildren, one sister, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews

Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of sympathy
